A card that probably has been 'coming' for quite some time, I feel. After all, the purists say the you don't choose the card; the card chooses you. So, going by that dictum, the hermit has chosen me. I would rather say that the Hermit has not just chosen me, He has (or it could be SHE has?) grabbed my collar and turned my face around to face him. Normally, one wouldn't expect Hermits to become violent like this. But when someone refuses to listen, even the most reticent Hermit would probably raise his staff and strike. Reminds me of Gandalf when he is angry....
The card is from the Mythic Tarot. According to the book by Juliet Sharman-Burke, the card personifies Cronos. Time. Yes, TIME himself.
